This program aims to help participants gain an in-depth understanding of
KPI and the role of KPI for business management in general and human resource
management in particular. At the same time, know how to build effective KPIs
for your individuals, department and organization.
Any organization, department, or individual always have their working objectives. And among those objectives, there are key objectives. However, if these objectives are not measurable or difficult to measure, it means that these objectives are ambiguous, and therefore, no matter how hard you try, you don’t know whether you achieve objectives or not.
As Peter Drucker (Father of Modern Management) once affirmed, "You can’t manage what you can’t measure; if you can’t measure it, you can’t improve it."
Many studies around the world, including the research of David Parmenter (author of the most popular book about KPI "KPI - Key Performance Indicators"), The Balanced Scorecard Institute and Franklin Covey have pointed out that: "70% of the failures of businesses are due to poor execution and ineffective performance measurement systems. It’s rarely for lack of strategies or vision.”
This figure also shows that performance management is being implemented ineffectively in many organizations around the world, from multi-national corporations, small and medium enterprises, government agencies and non-profit organizations.
So how can we build an optimal KPI system and use this KPI system effectively?
Understanding the importance and urgency of the effectiveness measurement system, PACE Institute of Management collaborated with the Balanced Scorecard Vietnam to design the "Building KPI System" training program.
This program will help enterprises understand the most core principles of Management by Objective (MBO) and Performance Management (PM), and know what are the KPIs need to build and know how to build KPI system for organization, departments, and individuals.
